携手关怀沙巴古达长者
——7979幸福满载 · 沙巴古达
古达，曾是英属北婆罗洲（今沙巴）的政治与行政中心。时光流转，这座昔日繁忙的港口小镇，如今迎来另一份温暖的相遇——“7979幸福满载”首次踏足沙巴，走进古达。
为更好地开展关怀长者的服务，7979于2026年6月4日在古达巴色会，举办“关爱由脚开始”学习工作坊，并邀请 Glitz Nail Supply 国际美甲导师谢洁云老师及团队为12位学员授课。
7979期盼学员掌握正确的足部护理知识与技巧后，也能走入社区，关怀行动不便、缺乏照顾的长者。
翌日，6月5日，7979幸福满载展开社区服务，共有31位志工为33位长者提供健康检测、中医诊疗、足部护理、义剪及拍摄个人照片等服务。活动获得巴色会古达区多间堂会共同参与，并感谢张振彬州议员、雷金绰私人有限公司赞助活动物资，以及 Osteo HealthCare 与 Royal Nails Studio 提供专业服务；从中展现教会、社区与社会资源携手关怀长者的美好见证。
防减灾教育——从校园到社区
2026年6月至7月，7979持续走进学校、幼儿园及教会，举办防减灾教育醒觉活动，帮助不同年龄层的民众建立防灾意识，提升应变能力。
期间，7979分别走进吉隆坡文良港民义华小、增江中区二校、麻坡岭嘉学校、山打根大同华文小学及山打根浸信教会幼儿园举办儿童防减灾醒觉教育活动；也在槟城立信浸信会举办防减灾讲座及模拟演练，让防灾教育走进校园、教会与社区。
无论是拥有734位学生的校园、或只有53位学生的学校，还是43位参与的教会防减灾讲座，7979都相信每一个人都值得拥有学习防减灾知识、保护自己与他人的机会。
第13届7979陪读班师资培训营
第13届7979陪读班师资培训营于2026年5月25日至28日在新山柔佛再也异象基督教会举行。来自全马17间教会的45位老师齐聚一堂，透过学习、交流与实践装备自己，提升陪伴儿童成长的能力。
本届培训营以“成为AI时代儿童的陪伴者”为主题，由陈爱珠牧师主讲，带领老师重新认识新时代儿童的需要。此外，Trauma Tech Education Academy Malaysia 庄光桧也带领CPR及海姆立克急救法训练，让老师透过理论与实作，提升守护儿童及应对紧急状况的能力。
7979盼望透过持续装备陪读班老师，与教会携手陪伴儿童成长，为孩子建立更有盼望的未来。

“如何使用急救包”工作坊
2026年7月8日，7979在麻坡万国圣殿举办“如何使用急救包”工作坊，共有14位学员参与。感谢讲员庄光桧的分享，透过理论与实作，帮助学员学习正确的急救知识与技巧，并纠正常见急救迷思。7979相信，急救不仅是医护人员的专业，更是每个人都应具备的生活技能。
长者牧养实践
——“银发同行 7979幸福满载” 健康宣导讲座
2026年7月23日，7979以“长者牧养实践”为主题，举办健康宣导讲座，并邀请资深牧者张玉芬牧师分享，共吸引58位关心长者事工的教牧领袖和肢体线上参与。张牧师强调，长者牧养的核心，在于帮助长者看见自己的价值，因此鼓励教会发掘长者的才华与经验，支持他们参与服事；同工也从“照顾者”转变为“陪伴者”，与长者彼此同行、彼此成全。
探索低学习能量儿童的内在系统
——7979陪读班线上互助小组
2026年7月2日，7979陪读班线上互助小组以“探索低学习能量儿童的内在系统”为主题，共吸引42位陪伴者参与。陈爱珠牧师分享如何辨识孩子学习的“卡点”，并传授五项实务工具，帮助陪伴者更有效回应不同孩子的需要。
感谢善心伙伴捐赠爱心物资
5月至7月期间，7979收到来自不同善心伙伴的物资：芙蓉“Chop Khoon Seng”商家热心赞助33包干面条；另一位匿名善心人士则分两次捐赠，共计48包1.8kg美禄饮品。
这些物资将透过7979吗哪食物银行，陆续送到有需要的家庭手中。7979感谢每一位善心伙伴的支持，让关怀持续走进社区，为更多家庭增添温暖。
7979激励充电站（北马区）
8月1日，“7979激励充电站”（北马区）于磐石浸信教会举行，主题是“帮助助人者从过劳中重获心灵健康”，共有34位来自7979全人关怀站的志工参与。活动特别邀请杨克聪牧师/博士担任讲员，带领志工检视自己的压力状态，并透过生命故事重新看见盼望与力量。
当天，参与者也透过交流与分组讨论，学习建立健康的服事界限，在关怀他人的同时，也关注自己的内心需要，以更健康的状态继续陪伴有需要的人。

Children’s Disaster Risk Reduction Education in Kuantan, Bentong and Klang
From Kuantan to Bentong and Klang, 7979 continued bringing disaster risk reduction education into schools from February to April. Nearly 1,700 students participated in interactive learning sessions and hands-on activities, gaining essential disaster preparedness knowledge and strengthening their awareness of disaster risks.
From 25–27 February, 7979 visited SJK(C) Semambu (465 students), SJK(C) Kong Min (485 students), and SJK(C) Lembing (58 students) in the Kuantan area. Many students still remembered the disaster preparedness knowledge and emergency response slogans they had learned the previous year.
From 8–10 April, 7979 conducted sessions at SJK(C) Telemong (94 students), SJK(C) Manchis (51 students), and SJK(C) Yuh Hwa, Raub (133 students). Beyond listening to the lessons, the students also began thinking about how they could protect themselves when disasters occur.
On 30 April, 7979 visited SJK(C) Kong Hoe in Klang, where 364 Year 5 and Year 6 students took part in the programme. Many of them were able to recall key fire hazards and evacuation procedures.
By continuing to serve schools, 7979 hopes to help children turn disaster preparedness awareness into practical actions in their daily lives.
“Ageing Well, Living Well” Health Awareness Talks
As the population continues to age and chronic illnesses become increasingly common, healthy ageing has become an important issue that deserves greater attention. To raise public awareness of the physical and mental well-being of the elderly, the 7979 Bahagia Berlimpah programme organised two online health awareness talks from April to May, focusing on chronic disease management and mental health.
On 16 April, Nurse Leong Zheng En shared on the topic “Live Longer, Live Better”, introducing the concept of “exercise snacks” (short bouts of physical activity) to 40 participants and encouraging simple ways to stay active in daily life.
On 21 May, Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. Bernard Ting led 148 participants in understanding the mental health challenges faced by the elderly. Through statistics and real-life case examples, he highlighted issues such as loneliness, depression, and dementia, while equipping caregivers to recognise the early warning signs and provide timely support.
7979 Volunteer Recharge Hub (Central Region)
On 25 April 2026, 34 staff members, volunteer coordinators, and volunteers from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Negeri Sembilan gathered at Grace Christian Church Kuala Lumpur for the 7979 Volunteer Recharge Hub (Central Region).
During the event, Rev. He from Taiwan, shared a message titled “Going the Second Mile”. He encouraged participants to choose to go the extra mile—reminding them that although the “second mile” may not produce immediate results, it can make a genuine difference in the lives of those in need.
In addition to the keynote session, participants attended workshops on practical topics. Dietitian Lim Geok Cha shared practical nutrition knowledge, equipping volunteers with healthy eating principles and smart grocery shopping tips. Sis. Tina Woon and lawyer Jimmy Ng Meng Poh also conducted a session on estate planning and asset distribution, helping volunteers better understand how to support individuals and families facing such matters.

Baking Love into Every Cookie
From Baking to Fundraising: Children Support the 7979 Manna Food Bank
During the mid-year school holidays in 2026, the teachers and students of Little Joy Childcare baked homemade cookies and sold them to members of their local community.
The children first learned how to bake and package the cookies, while their teachers promoted them through the community WhatsApp group. The children then personally delivered the cookies to customers, expressing their appreciation for their support.
For the children, this holiday activity became a valuable lesson in compassion. They learned that beyond what they see in their daily lives, there are families struggling with food insecurity.
All proceeds from the cookie sales, amounting to RM200, were donated to the 7979 Manna Food Bank to provide food assistance to families in need.
Through this experience, the children gained more than baking and communication skills. They also learned to care for the needs of others and discovered the joy of giving and sharing.
We sincerely thank the teachers and students of Little Joy Childcare for their kindness and initiative. May the seeds of compassion planted at a young age continue to grow, reminding us that no one is too young to make a difference in the lives of others.
