As we step into 2025, the world is undergoing significant changes. It all started with Trump’s reelection as President of the United States. The new administration has been swift in executing its electoral manifestos. While the national reforms in a First World country are primarily domestic matters, they inevitably have global impacts. Among these changes is the 20th Jan announcement of freezing all external aid, USAID received the hardest hit from this decision, many worried that the poor countries and groups that genuinely need assistance would suffer from this change.       

Concurrently, the tension on global issues of race and religion did not subside, such as the Israel-Palestine conflict, which both hold strongly to their respective stands. The rigidity of understanding towards different races remains the same, and this influence worsens Malaysia’s racial and religious situation. Some opportunists seize this moment to create public opinion for advancement of their hidden agendas, ignoring the consequences of every action, which could break the fragile structure of Malaysia’s diverse culture society.  


On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence is now the talk of the town globally, A.I. technology is advancing by the count of days, and its usage is growing and becoming more common, its influences are unstoppable. Irrespective of Eastern or Western nations, every nation fights to be the first in A.I. innovation to grab the biggest piece in future political, economic, cultural and educational sectors. From chatbots to in-depth analysis, various AI models compile a vast amount of previously input data while incorporating reviewing and correction settings during output. 

However, being trapped in this global development, we might feel insignificant and helpless. Yet, we still can create the positive results that we desire: 

• Losing external aid, then we can search for other available resources. Am I available to assist those around me who need help?
• When dealing with enemy’s threat, how can I be the child of peace? Do I still perceive others by their look, being prejudiced?

Everyone marvels at the results shown by A.I., especially in answering all sorts of questions. However, A.I. cannot give us a warm hug and irreplaceable love.
Love cannot be artificial, let us use real love and physical actions to live out love, together we “Go Save, Go Save” as shown by those volunteers who assisted disaster survivors at Sabah and Sarawak’s flood unhesitatingly during the CNY festive.
