为尼泊尔严重洪灾代祷
8月26日，尼泊尔北部发生严重突发洪灾，大量洪水与泥石流沿河谷冲下，多个社区、道路、桥梁及水电设施遭到破坏。
根据尼泊尔政府截至8月28日下午3时公布的最新消息，洪灾已造成538人死亡；尼泊尔国家灾害风险降低与管理局（NDRRMA）的最新数据也显示，另有977人失踪。目前，当地仍持续展开搜救、撤离及救援工作。
7979将与当地合作伙伴 MCDS 配搭，把援助送进灾区，并关注受灾家庭从紧急救援、灾后恢复，到长期重建的需要。
现阶段援助将优先用于：
食物及基本生活物资 临时住所及生活用品 衣物及厨房用品 医疗及其他紧急援助 灾后社区恢复与长期重建

Pray for Nepal Amid Severe Flooding
On 26 August, severe flash floods struck northern Nepal, sending floodwaters and mudslides surging through river valleys and damaging numerous communities, roads, bridges, and hydropower facilities.
According to the latest update released by the Government of Nepal as of 3:00 p.m. on 28 August, the disaster has claimed 538 lives. The latest figures from Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) also indicate that 977 people remain missing. Search and rescue, evacuation, and emergency relief efforts are still ongoing.
7979 will work alongside our local partner, MCDS, to deliver assistance to affected areas and support families through emergency relief, post-disaster recovery, and long-term reconstruction.
At this stage, assistance will prioritise: Food and basic necessities Temporary shelter and essential household items Clothing and kitchen supplies Medical and other emergency assistance Community recovery and long-term reconstruction

– May God grant wisdom, strength, and safety to rescue personnel, medical teams, and local partners serving on the front lines.

– May the affected communities gradually recover, and may families impacted by the disaster regain strength and hope.
