7979前往灾区，与当地伙伴同行
9月5日，7979重大灾难回应顾问丘忠瑶（Eddy Hew）将前往尼泊尔，并与当地MCDS团队会合，一同参与灾害回应工作。Eddy曾于2015年尼泊尔大地震后参与当地灾害回应，并与MCDS建立合作关系；此次也将在既有的合作基础上，再次与当地团队配搭。
而在7979层面，除了持续发动代祷，也同步整合资源，支持当地的灾害回应工作。截至9月3日下午1时30分，7979已在网络内收到RM50,576，用于支持这次尼泊尔灾害回应；本阶段以RM70,000作为资源预备目标，回应期至9月30日。

MCDS（Multipurpose Community Development Service）成立于1994年，是尼泊尔注册的非政府组织，长期参与社区发展及灾害风险减缓工作，服务网络遍及20多个地区。根据MCDS的初步评估，此次灾害回应所需资源约为USD100,000。
7979 Heads to the Disaster-Affected Area to Serve Alongside Local Partners
On 5 September, Eddy Hew, 7979 Major Disaster Response Consultant, will travel to Nepal and meet with the local MCDS team to support the ongoing disaster response. Eddy previously took part in disaster response work following the 2015 Nepal earthquake and built a partnership with MCDS. This time, he will once again serve alongside the local team, building on this existing partnership.
Alongside mobilising prayer, 7979 is also coordinating resources to support the disaster response on the ground. As of 1:30 p.m. on 3 September, 7979 has received RM50,576 from within our network to support the Nepal disaster response. For this phase, we are working towards a resource preparation target of RM70,000, with the response period running until 30 September. MCDS (Multipurpose Community Development Service), established in 1994, is a registered non-governmental organisation in Nepal. It has long been involved in community development and disaster risk reduction, with a service network spanning more than 20 districts. Based on MCDS’s preliminary assessment, approximately USD100,000 worth of resources will be needed for this disaster response.
